General:  The route includes quiet but wide roads through thriving fenland villages, as well as rolling Norfolk countryside and the historic Sandringham Estate.

The route passes through the centre of Kings Lynn and there are one or two short sections of busy roads that must be crossed.

Whilst the fens are well known for their flatness, if the wind is blowing they provide a stern challenge and once east of Kings Lynn, the route includes some deceptive climbs.

Route Signage:  Major junctions will be signposted wherever possible

Food and Drink:  The route will include one feed stop manned by Spalding Cycling Club. The short route will use the feed station once, the long route has been designed to incorporate two visits to the feed station. The route also passes through a number of villages with cafés and shops as well as the Tea Rooms at Sandringham. Riders should ensure that they take sufficient food and drink to complete the route.

Course Sweeper:   We cannot guarantee that we will have the benefit of a broom wagon. Please ensure you carry spare tubes and a pump etc.

If you do have a major mechanical problem please ring the organisers.
